Objective	The cruise had 2 legs: in March and April 2000, due to bad weather conditions in March. In fact, in March 2000, valid samples could only be taken at the Flamanville power plant. The other two plants of Paluel and Penly were sampled in April. This cruise did ecological and fisheries monitoring at nuclear power plant sites along the coastline of metropolitan France. Monitoring discharges of heated and chlorinated water from nuclear power plants. The first part of the cruise was from 26 to 31 March and the second from 12 to 14 April.

Summary of measurements	-Niskin bottle samples at surface and/or at -10m. -Zooplankton samples taken in WP2 net. -Parameters studied: temperature, salinity, nitrites, nitrates, ammonium, silicates, phosphates, chlorophyll, primary production, phytoplankton flora, zooplankton flora, suspended matter, microbiology, haloforms and boron for Flamanville and Paluel. -Flamanville: 3 sampling points (Baseline, intake channel, discharge). All parameters except suspended matter. -Paluel: 3 sampling points (same as for Flamanville). -Penly: 4 sampling points (Baseline, Discharge, Intake channel and Control)(Except boron).
