Summary of measurements |
- -Acoustics: Acoustic sampling was done in daytime over a sampling grid with legs 8 miles apart (2,280 nautical miles covered, 1,000 on legs).
-Trawls: A pelagic trawl and a GOV-type semi-pelagic trawl will be used (52 hauls). -Hydrology and plankton: Stations will be located along acoustic transects during the night (171 vertical profiles of salinity, temperature and fluorescence, along 22 transects). -Continuous recording of eggs: A pump was used to take water at 3 m depth. Using this pump, horizontal distribution of eggs (456 samples) was obtained by the CUFES (Continuous Underway Fish Egg Sampler). -Mapping the abundance of predators: (107) Including 60 legs.
