Objective Continuation of the MEDIPROD I cruise on the distribution and evolution of phyto- and zooplankton biomasses according to the winter and spring hydrological situations of the north western Mediterranean basin. The main objectives of MEDIPROD II were to apply new techniques on a relatively small number of stations that could be selected in typical sectors.
