Objectif

Cette campagne avait pour objet principal de définir et d'étudier les contours physiques, chimiques et biologiques de la niche de Dinophysis acuminata, dinoflagellé toxique responsable de contamination des coquillages par des toxines diarrhéiques. Bien que présente à des densités cellulaires très faibles, cette espèce est la principale nuisance sur toutes les côtes de l'Europe de l'Ouest. Il s'agit donc d'une espèce rare dont l'étude permettra d'acquérir des connaissances fondamentales. Cette campagne est contractuelle (Programme européen FP6) et le projet de rattachement est ALTOX - Action ALDIN.
