Objective

Biodiversity of the macrophytobenthos (seaweed and marine phanerogams) of coral formations on Pine Island and neighboring reefs. Species collected for New Caledonian marine algae flora inventory; phylogenic and phylogeographic study of the Dictyotales group of gulfweeds. Study of biogeographical affinities. 2 thermograph logs recovered (Corne Sud and Mato) for UR 025. The related project is Biodiversity of tropical marine fauna and flora (IRD-UMR 7138 "Systematics, Adaptation, Evolution").
