Objective Main objective: To build up times series of abundance indexes for the main commercial species in the North Sea (Assessment of the main North Sea commercial species). Additional objectives: Acoustic data analysis, validation of CUFES (Continuous Underwater Fish Egg Sampling) in the North Sea, studying the distribution and relative abundance in winter of marine birds an mammals in the North Sea. The related programmes are: International Bottom Trawl Survey - Assessments of fisheries under EU management and non-EU management - Fisheries information system.
