Objective In the framework of Ifremer's "Submarine valleys and natural hazards" project(Theme 5/Programme 2), particularly looking at the Canyon du Var, 3 actions were undertaken: 1. Setting up a buoy for communications with MAP3 bottom station set up in September 2005, 2. Current-meter - particle trap line moored on "Dyfamed" site, 3. Interface and Kullenberg core sampling along the Canyon du Var and off Nice. Theme 6/Sopha programme also asked to take advantage of this cruise to deploy two "PNG" and PROVOR floats in their qualification phase for 24 hours.
