Objectif Pour répondre aux objectifs du programme, les campagnes EGEE vont permettre l'acquisition de mesures in situ hydrologiques et courantométriques dans les couches supérieures de l'océan, et météorologiques, et également de maintenir le réseau de bouées ATLAS de PIRATA également nécessaires pour les études portant sur les échanges air-mer dans le Golfe de Guinée. Elles permettront enfin de vérifier si les mesures obtenues avec la station météorologique de Sao Tomé déployées dans le cadre du programme sont bien représentatives des conditions océaniques environnantes et également de contribuer à la validation des mesures obtenues par satellite dans cette région particulière. La campagne EGEE 2 est la 2ème campagne du programme. La première campagne, EGEE 1, s'est déroulée en juin 2005. Le programme de rattachement est : AMMA - Analyse Multi-échelle de la Mousson Africaine.
