| Objective | A cruise to quantitatively explore the benthos in the Eastern English Channel and the southern part of the North Sea. This falls under the PNEC project. 122 stations were inspected during the cruise: sieving on 2 mm mesh: macrobenthos, sorting, identification, abundance and biomass were measured. Sediment granulometry and measuring of organic matter and pigments in sediment. |
