| Objective | Observation of Northern Current intrusions in the Gulf of Lions. This falls under the PATOM - ARGOL 2003 project. The moorings are positioned as follows: one 10 m long mooring for a 160m probe used to measure the current at the point: 43 deg 4'175N 5 deg 7'600E and one 150 m long mooring for a 160 meter probe to measure temperature at: 43 deg 4'080N 5 deg 7'603E. The top of the mooring is 10 meters under the surface |
