Objective Studying the structure and functioning of the plankton food web in anchovy spawning grounds: microzooplankton dynamics. This falls under the PNEC project, Bay of Biscay worksite. The survey took place on 3 specific zones: NRO 1 circle with 0.5 nautical mile radius centered on 45 deg 30 N / 001 deg 30W, NRO 2 circle with 0.5 nautical mile radius centered on 45 deg 01 N / 002 deg 20 W and NRO 3 circle with 0.5 nautical mile radius centered on 45 deg 10 N / 001 deg 30 W.
