| Objective | The survey aimed to monitor the "nursery" function of the bay of the Vilaine river (series begun in 1981) and study the food web relationships between the benthos and juvenile fish (target species: sole) in the peri-estuarine zone, as well as to describe the ichtyofauna and fisheries function of two particular types of sea beds: mudflats colonized by the tubicole crustacean Haploops tubicola and bottoms colonized by crepidula, near shellfish farming areas. The action was conducted in the framework of a contract with the Pays de la Loire Region. The survey falls under Theme 2, DYSCO program and the "Coastal habitats" project. |
