Objective | 5 ATLAS buoys were replaced, at 0 deg/0 deg W, 10 deg S-10 deg W, 6 deg S-10 deg W, 0 deg -10 deg W and 0 deg -23 deg W.A current-meter array mooring (7 current meters) was replaced at 0 deg -10 deg W. Current-meter array mooring (8 current meters + acoustic source) deployed at 0 deg -23 deg W. 2 acoustic source moorings deployed at 1 deg N-10 deg W et 6 deg S-10 deg W (for IFM-Kiel). Hydrological profiles using a CTD probe at 10 deg W + at buoy sites. Seawater samples taken to analyze S, 02 (analyzed on board) and nutrients + CO2, C13 and O18 parameters (analyzed in the laboratory following the survey). Hydrological profiles using XBT probes. SVP drifting surface buoys released. Continuous underway SST/SSS and hull-mounted ADCP. Three shallow water moorings recovered off French Guyana. The relevant projects are PIRATA, EGEE, "Equatorial Jets", CLIVAR-Atlantic, CHICO and CORIOLIS. |
