Summary of measurements |
- -95 trawlings of 30 minutes with a GOV bottom trawl. All catches are sorted and wheighed. Commercial species are measured.
Tri et pesée de toutes les espèces capturées. Mensurations des poissons commerciaux capturés. -Otoliths were taken on whiting (490), cod (56) and plaice (419). -Otoliths (171) and scales (170) were sampled on goatfish which were individually weighed and photographed (74). -Samples of 11 different species (2 individuals from each) taken for analysis on land (Halio-Authenticité program, CEVPM Boulogne). -Surface salinity and temperature recorded by Micrel probe attached to lead line while deploying and turning; continuous recording (periods of 15") on the bottom during fishing operations. -Display of the trawl's geometry with each haul (horizontal and vertical openings) using the SCANMAR system. -60 individuals of European common squid (Alloteuthis subulata) were sampled for the University of Caen. -145 skates were sampled for a comparative analysis of genetic structures (Department of Marine Biology, University of Groningen, The Netherlands). -30 specimens sampled (7 species) for the European program FISHTRACE led by the Muséum National d'Histoire Naturelle de Paris. -Live fish and invertebrates captured for Nausicaa, the national sea experience centre in Boulogne/mer.
