Objective Stability of sedimentary bodies in the deep submarine Niger river delta. This falls under the NERIS project. The cruise had 2 legs: Leg 1: CTD and SAR sidescan sonar studies, deep water Pasisar seismics, chirp sonar. Leg 2 samples taken and instruments (piezometers) placed on the seabed, photographs of the seafloor (SCAMPI).
