- -Trial on behavior of deep water cable with weighted with 500 kg equivalent to the load of the Penfeld penetrometer.
-Deploying the complete rigging of the Penfeld and setting a ballast of 4.5 tons on the seafloor. -EM12 and sediment sounder profiles on the spot of the Penfeld soundings. -7 Penfeld dives at over 2,000 meters depth at 15 different positions. The cumulated length of rod penetration was 183 meters (with maximum penetration of 30 meters). -Kullenberg core samples.
