Objectif Cette campagne, en liaison avec les campagnes REMORA (1 et 2) de 2001 permettra l'estimation des inventaires en divers marqueurs (radionucléides artificiels, naturels etc..) présents dans les sédiments marins situés dans l'ensemble du Golfe du Lion. Ils seront comparés à ceux obtenus en 1990-91 pour l'aire sous influence du Rhône et ceux obtenus en 1994 pour l'ensemble de la zone. L'accent sera mis sur les apports des bassins versants du Rhône, de l'Hérault et de la Tet, les trois principaux anthroposystèmes connectés à la zone d'étude. Ces carottages permettront en outre d'affiner les études sur les accumulations sédimentaires, la spéciation des radionucléides et les variations saisonnières (pollen) dans cette zone et de mieux connaitre les effets des crues des différents fleuves, et notamment du Rhône. Des études en canal à courant permettront de préciser les processus physiques de remise en suspension et la quantification des processus de désorption des marqueurs associés aux particules. Les projets de rattachement sont ORME et REMOTRANS.
