Objective	Studying the resuspension of sediments and the release of dissolved substances due to trawling. The related project is INTERPOL (Impact of Natural and Trawling Events on Resuspension, dispersion and fate of POLlutants). The cruise also took place aboard research vessel TETHYS II.

Summary of measurements

-Trawl hauls (Rockhopper roller trawl, Medits bottom trawl, GOC 73 pelagic trawl).
-Hydrological profiles with multi-parameter probe (temperature, salinity, pressure, optical transmission, fluorescence and dissolved oxygen).
-Profiles of particle size using laser granulometer in situ.
-Profiles of current in bottom layer using an ADCP.
-Water samples taken for analyses of particulate concentrations, particulate carbon and nitrogen and organic particulate carbon, nutrients (nitrates, nitrites, ammonium, phosphates, silicates), dissolved organic matter, alkalinity and CO2.
-Sediment samples taken with multitube corer for analyses of granulometry, particulate nitrogen concentrations, organic particulate carbon and particulate carbon and nutrients (nitrates, nitrites, ammonium, phosphates, silicates).
