Objective

The cruise aimed to study deep water circulation from the North Atlantic to the eastern West Indies, using moored buoys. Tomographic tools to estimate the heat content in the section equipped with buoys will be used for the first time in this project. This cruise was the German contribution to the CLIVAR project within the WCRP world climate research programme.
