Objective Defining the deep structure of the Congo-Angola margin using wide angle seismic reflection and reflection seismics by deploying and OBS (Ocean Bottom Seismometer). Characterizing gas hydrate areas and studying them through a detailed survey done by 6 OBS. Initiating an environmental programme in order to characterize the structure and dynamics of ecosystems by placing long-term autonomous moorings (9 deployed). They had particle traps, current meters, autonomous colonization units and standalone multidisciplinary modules. This falls under the ZAIANGO project.
