Objective The objective of the ANTAUS - GEOPHYSIQUE/FLUX THERMIQUE cruise was to measure terrestrial heat fluxes using thermistors attached to the tube of the corer on R/V Marion Dufresne, in order to quantify the temperature anomalies linked to the "cold spot" of the Australian-Antarctic Discordance and to acquire new sedimentology data in the framework of the IMAGES programme. This cruise was associated with the Dorsales (ridges) and IMAGES projects.
