Objective The project's most important objective was to study Southern European sardine populations' distribution (from the Gulf of Cadiz to the Celtic Sea) and assess them using the echo-integration acoustic method. The study included acquiring both continuous data and auxiliary variable data (T, S, Fluorimetry, eggs, plankton and primary production) at fixed stations.
