Objective

In the context of the production of morphosedimentary indicators intended to determine the quality of the environments, certain recommendations have been recommended by the experts for the hydrological and morphological descriptors aspect of the transitional environments that are the estuaries.

The objective of the project AUPASED (Project Financed AFB - duration 44 months) is the study of the feasibility of sedimentary monitoring, coupled with bathymetric surveys on the subtidal zone and topographic on the intertidal zone. The expected enhancement is the development of a methodology to harmonize and qualify the determination of sedimentary parameters and sedimentary discrimination in order to set up specifications for Water Agencies for sediment monitoring within the framework of the application of the WFD in estuarine areas.
