| Objective | Following the retrofit of RV Thalassa, sea trials are necessary to validate and perform the sea acceptance test of the new deep water bathymetric multibeam echosounder EM304. The new Ifremer protocole of multibeam seabed image intercalibration with sphere calibrated single beam echosounder will also be performed, which enables to apply new methods of bottom nature analysis with acoustics.
