| Objective | ESSHROV 2018 is a technological cruise that has enable major evolutions of the hybrid ROV Ariane. More precisely, this cruise achieved the following objectives : 1. Optimization of navigation performances with a new firmware and a new dialog protocol for the Inertial system (Phins), 2. Implementation of a new server for data management (acquisition, broadcast...), 3. Two inspection dives realized near the airport of Nice in order to find potential fluid sources (request from Ifremer-REM-GM team), 4. Validation of the dive monitoring from a shore based office (telepresence) with a software Mimosa3 (under development), 5. Management of 3D acoustic cartography (EM2040 echosounder) with tilted transducers.
