Objective

Studying the impact of the diversity of benthic fauna and of the qualitative and quantitative contributions of organic matter on the ecological and biogeochemical functioning of the benthic ecosystem of the West Gironde mud patch (Bay of Biscay) in relation to the hydrological regime of the Gironde Estuary.

This work is part of the EU JERICO-NEXT project (2015-2018) and the joint project LEFE (2018-2020) and DRIL-EC2CO (2018-2019).
