| Objective |
Carrying on from the 2016 TURBISEINE cruises, the PHRESQUES cruises aim to:
1) Perform maintenance on the marine stations (SMILE and D4-Carosse).
2) Calibrate the sensors of the PHRESQUES (SMILE et D4-Carosse) meta-network of marine stations, supplementing the calibrations performed on estuarine and river stations, and assess the uncertainties of automated measurements over the long term (i.e., beyond the calibration surveys). Discrete and high-frequency measurements will be taken from RV Côtes de la Manche.
3) identify, assess and understand the dynamics of suspended matter in relation to their variable composition variable (mineral/organic composition, characterisation of phytoplankton and exudates), focusing more particularly on interactions between mineral and organic matter.
