Objective

The objective of the CROCO-CAUX cruise is to map the rocky shore platform on two target sectors of the Seine-Maritime coast (Normandy region). The acquisitions were concentrated off Fécamp-Senneville sur Fecamp (box 1) and off Antifer-Etretat (box 2). They aim to establish a high-resolution land-sea DTM on two sectors of the Normandy rocky coast (in Caux region) and to better define the morphology and the submarine extension of their shore platforms, which are the witness of long-term coastal chalk cliffs erosion. The related project is CROCODYL (INSU/EC2CO/DRIL-2015).
