| Objective | ORHAGO survey series aims at following the trend of the Bay of Biscay sole abundance and the changes in the ichthyofauna associated to this species. The survey is carried out every year in November-Décember using a beam trawl. The survey protocol is to trawl every year on the same positions. One or two hauls must be made in each of the 10' by 10' latitude/longitude rectangles which are been reported to be sole fishing area in the Bay of Biscay. This falls under the ORHAGO project. |
