Objective

The aim of the two M2BIPAT cruises was to study the response of the microbial ecosystem to the different physico-chemical environments encountered across the Ushant tidal front. The low trophic levels (from nutrients to zooplankton) of the ecosystem have been sampled, and DNA samples were taken for metabarcoding studies. Two high resolution Scanfish CTD sections were performed to characterize the physical environment.
