Objective

Retrieve a series of deep sea sediment cores distributed over a range of latitudes and water depths in the south-east corner of the South Atlantic in order to fill a critical gap in paleoceanographic data and reconstruct the water mass vertical structure over the last 40 thousand years in this part of the ocean. The attached project is Projet ERC ACCLIMATE (Elucidating the Causes and Effects of Atlantic Circulation Changes through Model-Data Integration).
