Objective Variability of physical and biogeochemical processes at (T, S, O2, SN) at MOLA site. This time series has been integrated in the national SOERE MOOSE network since 2010. The Banyuls-Sur-Mer Marine Observation Service (BOSS) was formally established in 1997 and is part of INSU's national observation network SOMLIT (LITtoral Observation Service). as well as the Ocean Ocean Observing System for the Environment (MOOSE). It is based on a long tradition of ocean observation of Banyuls-Sur-Mer in the areas of biological, chemical and physical dynamics of the North-West Mediterranean. Since 2003, the MOLA site (Microbial Observatory Laboratory Arago located on the north side of the Lacaze-Duthiers canyon at 19 miles from the coast on 600m depths [42°27'205N - 03°32'565E]) is prospected every month of the year to build a database for understanding long-term changes in the offshore pelagic area. The stated objective is the follow-up of water masses, thermohaline circulation and material flows in the North West Mediterranean.
