Objective

Characterizing and quantifying short-term bathymetric changes affecting the tidal mouth of the Bay of Bonne Anse during a neap tide / spring tide cycle. 1) Highlighting and quantifying morphological changes affecting the ebb and flood tidal deltas as well as the river mouth channels at neap and spring tides. This will involve estimating the volume in flood and ebb tidal deltas, the wet sections of the main channel in the river mouth at neap tide and spring tide. The changes affecting other morphological parameters of the various sedimentary compartments in the mouth will also be quantified between neap tide and spring tide. 2) Highlighting the changes in residual transport at flood and ebb tides and at neap and spring tides at the level of the ebb and flood tidal deltas and the tidal channels associated with this river mouth. This will mainly involve measuring morphological and asymmetrical changes in the sedimentary ripple marks in channels and on tidal deltas between neap tide and spring tide and between flood tide and ebb tide.
