Objective The 2015 campaign NODULE part of the proposed exploration program for 5 year extension period of the contract with the AIFM. Its objective is to achieve a comprehensive mapping survey of the main area of the French permit (Permit A) which covers about 45 000 km² with about 5000 m depth and produce a digital elevation model with a resolution of 50 m and that reflectivity mosaic. Deliverables, essential to understanding the distribution of the resource to better constrain its estimate, will complement the work already done in the context of previous work programs. It mobilizes 8 people Geochemistry and Metallogeny Laboratory (MBL) and the Mapping Service, Data Processing and Instrumentation (CTDI) of the research unit Marine Geosciences of IFREMER.
