Objective

Cruise theme: Surveying the Mozambique Plateau and targeted investigations in the Mozambique Channel: 1) Geodynamics, structure and thermicity of the Mozambique Channel and associated continental margins; 2) Deposit systems of the Zambezi River, Madagascar margin and carbonate seamounts of the Mozambique Channel; 3) Instability processes of sedimentary slopes in the Mozambique Channel; 4) Looking for potential indicators of fluids and identifying (fossil and active) fluid systems; 5) Inventorying benthic communities in various ecosystems. The launch Haliotis was also used as a support vessel for this cruise (PAMELA-MOZ04-HA - 15000600). This falls under the PAMELA programme, Mozambique Channel study site (2013-2018).
