Objectif Les objectifs de ces travaux s'orientent autours de deux axes d'échelle de temps différente : 1) A l'échelle du Quaternaire, il s'agit de caractériser l'incision fluviatile encore observable dans la morphologie de la rade de Brest et son remplissage afin de déterminer les différentes phases de fluctuation marine dans un contexte tectoniquement passif. 2) A l'échelle séculaire, décennale et saisonnière, une réactualisation à haute résolution de la couverture sédimentaire permet de caractériser l'impact des différentes agents hydrodynamiques agissant en rade de Brest (Fluviaux, houles et marées) et le devenir des sédiments apportés d'une part par les fleuves et d'autre part par l'océan atlantique.
