Objective The PRISME2-PAPRICA campaign took place onboard R/V L'Atalante from July 14th to August 4th 2013 to study recent gravity-driven deposits and to understand their spatial and temporal relationships with the surrounding sediments in a sector of the continental slope in the Western Mediterranean Sea: the Pianosa Ridge. PAPRICA represents a complement of 5 days of geophysical data acquisition cofounded by TOTAL and Ifremer within the PAMELA project. This survey was added to the program of PRISME2 cruise to allow a complete acquisition of multibeam, CHIRP and HR seismic profiles in the north-eastern sector of the Corsican channel, where potentially unstable contouritic deposits are present.
