| Objective | The objectives were to: 1) quantify the amount of terrestrial matter associated with the suspended particles (Particulate Organic Matter or POM) and on the surface sediment (Sedimentary Organic Matter or SOM); 2) analyze the fate of this matter in food webs starting with primary consumers (benthic invertebrates), secondary consumers and predators (invertebrates and benthic fish); 3) determiner the limit of the terrigenous influence on coastal ecosystems. The related project is EC2CO RETROCAN. |
