Summary of measurements |
- -Acoustics: daytime acoustic sampling on sampling grid, distance of 8 nautical miles between legs. 60 legs (851 nautical miles of acoustic sampling).
-Trawls: 2 pelagic trawls. 57 trawl hauls. -Hydrology and plankton: stations on 21 acoustic legs, probable distance of 3 nautical miles between stations, at night. 105 vertical temperature, salinity and fluorescence profiles. -Continuous recording of eggs: Water samples pumped at a depth of 3m. The CUFES (Continuous Underwater Fish Egg Sampler) will provide the horizontal distribution of eggs at this depth. 303 samples. -Mapping the abundance of predators: observations made during acoustic sampling legs.
