Objective The mission's aim is to specify the conditions for catching paralarvae of the different species present in the Bay of Seine (position in water column, bathymetry, distance from shore and environmental parameters, i.e. temperature and salinity). The samples collected should provide validation of the genetic identification of animals (task 6 of the CRESH project which includes developing and perfecting a DNA barcode). They will also enable the ecological characteristics of these early stages to be explored.
