| Objective | Installing and repairing a line on the Antares site. The NEUTRIVIC 10 operation involves the services described in the contract for "ANTARES operations at sea, making available a vessel and underwater vehicle". This contract follows on from the previous procurement contract signed by Ifremer and CNRS/IN2P3 more specifically for the creation of a Neutrino detector, and concerns operations at sea for the detector's operational readiness. The 2011 operation aimed to: 1/ continue connecting detector lines (line IL 11 deployed on 7 June 2011); 2/ deploy the IL IC14 cable (reel moored with IL 11 line); 3/ retrieve equipment including HF pyramids, connectors, IL cable, etc. (non-exhaustive list) The re-commissioning of the JB9 outlet will be the prerequisite, since presently no other JB outlet is available. If necessary, the activity schedule will be adapted in real time. |
