Objectif La campagne Remora 1 permettra l'estimation en La campagne Remora 1 permettra l'estimation en 2001, en divers marqueurs ( radionucléïdes artificiels, naturels, ...) dans les sédiments marins situés dans l'aire d'influence du Rhône. Ils seront comparés à ceux obtenus en 1990 - 91. Ces carottages permettront en outre d'affiner les études sur les accumulations sédimentaires, la spéciation des radionucléïdes et les variations saisonnières (pollen) dans cette zone et de mieux connaître les effets des crues centenaires d'octobre 1993-janvier 1994 sur ces paramètres. Une étude des vitesses de courant induisant des remises en suspension des sédiments dans cette région sera réalisée dans un canal à courant situe au COM (détermination des tensions critiques d'érosion et de sédimentation, calcul des flux d'érosion en fonction du forçage hydrodynamique, ...). Ce volet débouchera à terme sur l'élaboration d'un modèle de sédimentation dans cette région. Les projets de rattachement sont PNEC et REMOTRANS.
