| Objective | This cruise is part of the FROMVAR project to study the Ushant tidal front. It made it possible to perform a CTD network in the zone, using an undulating towfish called the "Scanfish", and to run a trial for observation of the seasonal thermocline using seismic methods (Mini-GI air gun). About 90 non-recovered XBT casts were employed during seismic surveys. Approximately 300 water samples were taken (TSG circuit) for titration of nutrients. This falls under the FROMVAR project. |
