Objective The aim of this mission was to both recover the instruments which had been set up to observe gravity-related turbidity events within the Var Canyon in the framework of programme 8, project 6, action on gravity-related landslides, and a long-term acoustic modem test system, the last phase of the Commodac action in project 8. All of the equipment to be recovered had been deployed in June 2009 from the German research vessel Poseidon (mission P386). In addition, a reading of measurement data from a piezometer set up during the same mission below the Nice airport (project 6) via acoustic transmission was requested.
