Objective Main objective: Constructing time-series of abundance indexes for the main commercial species in the North Sea and Eastern English Channel (Assessment of main commercial fish stocks). Larval index calculated for herring and sprat. Additional objectives: Logging of acoustic data for later analysis. Egg sampling was performed using the CUFES (Continuous Underway Fish Egg Sampler) in the North Sea. Study on hydrological, phytoplankton and zooplankton compartments. The cruise was related to the International Bottom Trawl Survey programme - Assessments of fisheries under EU management.
