Objective

Determining the concentrations and partition of metallic and organometallic contaminants in the dissolved and particulate phases in the water of the Adour estuary turbidity plume. Determining the dispersal of particulate and dissolved matter in the turbidity plume. The role of biotic and abiotic transformations on organometallic contaminants in the plume of turbidity was studied. The dispersal and fluxes of metallic and organometallic contaminants were studied in the plume and in the inshore area. The related project is Contaminant dynamics on the Aquitaine coast (Region of Aquitaine) (Council of elected officials of the Basque country, Aquitaine coast research network).
